Averyl Frances (Taylor) Nelson, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away on August 5, 2013 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olga (Johnson) and Earl Taylor; her husband, Ralph Nelson; her siblings, Virginia (Harold) Grushus, Delores (Wally) Shramek, Mavis (Walter) Nelson, Dwight (Laverne) Taylor, and Rae (Carl) Hummel. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and former neighbors. Averyl taught school for many years in Burnett County and Spooner, Wisconsin and in the Minneapolis Public Schools. Through her husband Ralph, she was a charter member of the American Society of Sanitary Engineers. Ralph and she were members of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church since 1956.
