Brenda K. Knutson, age 59 of Edina. Passed away on March 10th with her family at her side, after a courageous seven-month battle with lung cancer. Brenda's kindness, generosity and ability to turn out sweet pies and jams will be remembered by all who knew her. Her Christian faith was central to her life. Brenda was a "gatherer," who loved nothing more than to plan events large and small to bring family and friends together.
Brenda is survived by husband Dean; and sons, John and Peter. She is also survived by her sisters, Susan (Ted) Engler, Diana (Christopher Polydoroff) Harvey, and Lisa (Brian Lindgren) Harvey; mother-in-law, Doris Knutson; brother-in-law, Mark (Jean) Knutson; as well as dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
