Catherine E. Olson, age 93, of Bloomington. Passed away peacefully on May 26th with her family at her side. Proudly served in the USMC during WWII. Loved to bake, sew, garden and take care of her family. She also loved music, especially playing Chopin on the piano. She was an early advocate for smoke free zones in restaurants. Preceded in death by her son, Martin Olson; and brother, John Milanick. Survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Harland. Loving mother to Corinne Olson, Carolyn Olson and Teresa (David) Bakken. Also survived by her sister, Olga Larson; as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
Catherine's love, guidance and appreciation for others will be greatly missed.
