Darrell E. Kersten, age 79, of Mpls., passed away on November 20, 2022. Darrell served in the U.S. Army National Guard for over 25 years and was an Honorary member of the Minnesota National Guard Recruiting and Retention Hall of Fame. He also was a long-time employee of Groth Music. Survived by wife, Nancy Kersten; daughter, Brenda Catanach (Manuel) and their children, LeeAnne Harlan (Hunter), Tyler and Jesse Catanach; son, Kevin Kersten; daughter, Jodi Petrinovich (Jack) and their children, Mallory Radvany (Eric), great-grandchildren, Charlie and Calvin; Nick Miller (Nicole); daughter, Melanie Peterson and her children, Rachael and Quinton Peterson, grandson, Hunter Hawes; sister, Joyce Kvalheim; sister-in-law, Judy Groth; brother-in-law, Corny Groth passed away 12/7/22; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials preferred to Samaritan's Purse.
