Survived by wife of 60 years Lois; daughter, Laura (Kevin) Graber; son-in-law Mike Rifley; granddaughters, Birgitte (Sean) Eppel, Madeline Rifley, Ashley (Brock) Soderberg, and Jessica Rifley; ; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brielle, Lilith, Coraline, Wayland, Quinn, Jaxson and two on the way; brother, Paul (Barbie) Gantriis. Preceded in death by daughter, Maria Rifley; and sister, Jean Christiansen.

I’m so sorry for your great loss. Don was a lovely man. He loved his girls. One of my favorite remarks he made when we were going somewhere, “I hope we don’t have to stay until the last dog is hung.”
I also remember him telling me he brought a squirt gun to Bethel church. Courtland and Sylvia brought their boys along. Don quietly reached behind whoever was sitting next to him and squirted Bryan. He was so funny. I know he is already missed.
