Elaine J. Davis age 100 of Richfield, passed away April 24. Elaine was born in Clinton, MN on December 25, 1917. She was a Christmas baby. She received her RN degree from the U of M /Abbott Hospital and served in several twin city hospitals until 1952 when she began a 25-year career as an elementary school nurse in Richfield. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Art with whom she was active in AARP, Central Lutheran Church and Oak Grove Lutheran Church. Survived by son Bill (Meg), daughter, Dee (Bob) Joynt; grandchildren Drew (Chris) Davis, Ryan (Becky) Davis, Sean (Carolyn) Joynt, Kirstin (Steve) Voitus and 11 great grandchildren
A special thank you to staff of Grace Hospice and the pine, her assisted living home for the last 10 years, especially the aides in the Care Suites unit for their constant love and care.
