Elman G. Mahowald, age 93 of Coon Rapids, formerly of Richfield. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during WWII, and was a retired member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 10. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bette. He is survived by his sons, Monte (Nancy), and Gregory (Mary); grandchildren, Scott (Sophia) Mahowald, Kirsten (Jeff) Comfort, Lucas (Dana) Mahowald, and Tina (Matt) Rapp; great-grandchildren, Jodi and Thomas Mahowald, James, Kalley, Kalley and Thomas Rapp, Isaiah, Connor and Arianna Comfort, and Cassie DeAzevedo; brothers, Marvin (Barbara) and George (Darlene) Mahowald.
