Gerald “Jerry” Belsaas age 78 of Mpls. Passed away on March 6, 2017. Jerry was born on Aug. 17, 1938 and grew up on a farm in Boyd, MN. He was a 40+ year employee with Electric Machinery and a longtime member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. He also loved to sing and was a member of the Minneapolis Commodores. Preceded in death by parents, Palmer and Myrtle and sisters, Linda Olson and Jean Kelm. Survived by wife, Doris; sons, Gregory (Robin), Bradley and Jonathan (Tamara) Belsaas; grandchildren, Monica (Zachary) Klopfleisch, Alex and their mother, Emiko (Tom) Yemne, Jake, Elliott, Rachel, Katie; great-grandchildren, Brailee and Olivia; siblings, Avis Swan, Janet (Richard) Carlson, Robert (Lori) Belsaas; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Private interment.
Memorials may be directed to Pilgrim Church or school.

Doris …. so sorry you have lost Jerry … he is now in God’s hands with no more aches or pain. Know that my prayers are with you and your family. Always remember his smile as he sat in wheelchair in church.
