Glenn William “Bill” Hauge

Age 66, of Eden Prairie, died suddenly on May 14, 2019. He was born on December 22, 1952 at General Hospital in Minneapolis. Bill was the oldest of Glenn and Verna Hauge's 5 children.

Bill graduated in 1971 from John F. Kennedy High School, Bloomington, MN. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1974 and was stationed at the Lowry Airforce base in Colorado. After bravely serving our country until 1978, Bill went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Minnesota. He worked many sales jobs until he found his passion in the printing business. For the past 14 years Bill loved working at RR Donnelly, Chanhassen, MN. Outside of work Bill filled his time with many activities. Often times he could be found at Canterbury Downs betting on the ponies. He was a voracious reader, rode a Harley in his younger years, smoked great Cuban cigars, loved all kinds of music, and was a true Minnesota sports fanatic. He loved to ride his bike, go on walks, golf and show his creativity in the kitchen.

More than anything, Bill loved his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He would rarely miss a holiday. His favorite being the Parrott family Thanksgivings. Unanimously, everyone agreed that Bill was the BEST gift giver. He took great pride in knowing what everyone wanted and loved seeing the smiles on their faces when they received it.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, Glenn and Verna and is survived by Randall, Garry (Kim), Teri Lano (Gary), Nora Hansen (Brent) nieces and nephews: Justin Hauge (Ashley), Jennelle Hauge (Steve Nelson); Nicole and Sean Hauge, Mercedes Lano, Veronica, Sophia and George Hansen, Great nieces and nephews: Quinn and Blake Hauge and Ethan Nelson.
