Harold D. (Hal) Amundson. After years of suffering complications from Parkinson's disease, Harold (Hal) Amundson left his earthly body on Sept. 24, 2013, just short of his 88th birthday, and flew victorious into the arms of his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Hazel Amundson; brother, Duane "Bud" Amundson; and cherished daughter, Kathy Louise Clausen. He left a rich legacy of love, faith, faithfulness and exemplary service to his beloved wife of 62 years, Mabel Jean; daughter, Susan (Neal) Dietsche; sons, Tom (Lori) and Ken (Gail); son-in-law, Richard Clausen; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He also loved his "Club Create" family at the Struthers Parkinson's Center of Golden Valley.
Memorials preferred to Cedar Valley Church, The India Mission for Evangelism (T.I.M.E.), or to Struthers Parkinson's Institute "Club Create".
