Howard A. Laymon, age 79 of Golden Valley. He retired after 30 years with the Minnesota National Guard's 682 Engineering Battalion. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna. Survived by children, Mary (Chris Deutsch) Laymon, Janet (George) Wolff, John (Katharine Berglund) Laymon; grandchildren, Charlotte, Christopher, Sophia, Julianna, Dylan, Caleb, and Adam; and brother, Donald (Marcia) Laymon.
