Howard Gust Kreger, age 97, of Edina, formerly Bloomington. passed away peacefully on March 6, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Anna (Johnson) Kreger and Gust Henry Kreger, and sister, Adeline Krizek. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Beulah "Boots" Kreger; children, Wayne Kreger and wife, Donna, and Nancy Dardis and husband, Michael; grandchildren, John, Katy and Paul (Josie) Kreger and great-granddaughter, Amia.
Born in Lake City, MN on February 3, 1918, he spent his career in various forms of Federal service, retiring in 1973. Howie and "Boots" were active in their church, (Woodlake Lutheran, Richfield), Zuhrah Shrine Big Brothers, AARP and in building doll houses. Howard built 60 of them over the years. He lived his life with humor and compassion.
Memorials are preferred to Woodlake Lutheran Church or N. C. Little Hospice.
