James A. "Jim" Powell, age 89 of Sunrise Senior Living where he has lived since August of 2013. Passed away on February 16, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings; wife, Shirley (Lindblom); and his son, James A. Powell. Survived by his sisters-in-law, Elaine Rundgren and Lucille Lindblom; as well as nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living and Home Instead.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered,Come with me. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating you’re now at peaceful rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
