Age 82, passed away peacefully April 26, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by mother, Myrt; father, Jolly; and brother, Doug. Survived by husband, Dick Stromberg; children, Richard (Vicki) Stromberg, Karen (Steven) Lee, Jeffrey (Bonnie) Stromberg; grandchildren, Chris Stromberg, Traci Wagner, Jaimie (Shane) Owler, Brady (Jana) Lee, Jenny (Andrew) Blade, and Elise Cowan; and great-grandchildren Cooper Wagner, Jackson Wagner, Jude Wagner, and Caleb Owler.

Born 8/23/1932, Joan grew up in south Minneapolis, graduated from Roosevelt High School, where she met and married Dick Stromberg. They lived in Richfield, where Joan raised three children and worked at Richfield Bank and Trust for many years. Joan and Dick eventually moved to West Bloomington where they retired. Joan spent much of her retirement playing golf during the summer, and walking at the MOA during the winter.
