Duty, Honor, Country. Words that the Major learned long ago and repeated over and over to his Airmen. Thank you John. It has been an honor.

Hi Fogg, We had many great times together over the last 20 years, many “aviation” meetings, global business trips, lot’s of restaurants and traveling the world meeting customers and colleagues paving the way in the industry for “what’s coming next and what you need to do now. No one and I mean no one could match your talent and expertise. As a friend of yours told me last week you are a national asset to the aviation industry. Over the years I grew to know you personally and I marveled at your capacity to be a true, honest and straight shooter friend in good times and not so good times. Your passing has left me in shock but the memories we share will last me forever. I really miss you my friend.
    Mike

You taught me so much….especially duty an loyalty.
No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends. You would have done this in a heartbeat. I will really miss you Fogg and at the same time you will continue to always be there.

  6. John. Just when I thought I’d earned the privilege to call you Fogg, you were taken. Just like that.

I don’t expect I will ever see the bar raised as high as you placed it.

I had so looked forward to working with you, and now promise to do everything in my power to realize your vision and legacy.

    Henry

Major John! I remember meeting you over 30 years ago while my mom , who sadly also passed recently, did daycare for John and Jeannie, Kris was pregnant with Jennifer, when I was in kindergarten. Few years later she did daycare for my brother and I! I loved your kids and your family and always loved being around y’all.

I know from experience of losing my Momma That There’s No Words to make the hurt go away but please do know that my family and I are definitely thinking of you and you are definitely in our prayers! My dad just told me today about John and I’m sorry I wasn’t there to talk to you Juli when you stopped by. I’ll try to find you guys on Facebook to give you some contact information for me but again, my prayers are definitely with you guys and I’m so sorry because I loved your father! Not a day goes by where I don’t think about the good times we had at the MAC. One of the best bosses a person could ever want. He enabled all of us to do what we thought was right and supported us the whole way.

Goodbye my friend. I wish we would have stayed in touch more. I will miss you.
