John Ryan McDonald

Age 38, passed away at his residence in Richfield, MN on April 30, 2020.

Ryan was born January 23, 1982 and was a lifelong resident of Richfield where he attended High School and Normandale College. He was a gentle and kind person who had many talents, including his love of martial arts. He had a charismatic personality and sharp wit that naturally led him to work that involved sales of any kind and ultimately led to a career in real estate.

He was a loving father and is survived by his son, Michael Ryan McDonald whom he shared with his longtime partner, Marleny Lakin; and siblings, Michelle (David) Nicolai, Mack (Joan) McDonald, Blue (Michelle) McDonald, Andrew Kruck, Gina (Steven) Kruck, Travis (Valerie) Kruck and Angelica (Jesse) Larson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Guy McDonald and Susan Lee Berg; and grandparents, Arthur and Marjorie McDonald.

A private service will be held at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel.
