Karen was born on June 5th, 1941, to parents, John and Marie Jobst, in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota. Karen's life was filled with adventures and experiences, including living in Hawaii for a year with her husband, Gerald Allen Olson, who passed away before her, on April 22nd, 1996. Karen worked for many years as a telephone operator and later as a secretary at United Way, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and attention to detail. Her work was a source of pride for her, and she made many lasting friendships over the years.
