My dear friend Karen is now at peace. She was a genuinely kind, good person; I feel so fortunate to have known her for so many years. I loved our times in Mexico, and I’m sure she did, too. I’m so glad that she had such excellent care by her sister Joanie, yet another kind person. I think that trait must run in the Bargman family. Thinking of all of you during this sad time.

  3. To all the family of my friend Karen, I send my most profound condolences for your loss. I am sorry not to be able to attend the memorial service for Karen as I am in Mexico. I met Karen in Manzanillo Mexico in the early 70’s. Our friendship continued back in Minneapolis for many years when a group of us, all of whom met in Mexico formed a group called The Mexican Fun Club with monthly get-togethers for dining out , movies, holiday parties etc. The high light being the annual two weeks in Mexico for two weeks in March. Karen was a key ingredient to the fun and laughter which radiated from the Casa King throughout the usually quiet neighborhood of Club Santiago. One highlight of the GIRLS stay was when they collected two or three nights worth of doggie bags from restaurant leftovers and made a super delicious soup to die for. What good memories. Karen will be deeply missed. Ralph L. Burke
