Our gentle-hearted, kind, and loving Kathleen Evon Royer passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2023, and we are collectively grieving the profound loss. She was born on April 18,1943 in Fargo, ND to Clarence Robert Lietz and Myrtle Creola Norman (Jacobson). She was community-minded with a heart to serve others with compassion. Kathy was passionate about many things, including crafting and making lovely personalized gifts. She was an avid gardener and loved watching wild birds. She fiercely loved her family, especially her two grandsons. Kathy loved God and loved her cats. She gave the best hugs and was a deeply thoughtful person. She loved to cook and bake, as well as decorate for the seasons.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, son David, brother Ron, and sister Shirley. She is survived by her son Paul Royer (Dawn), daughter Janell Royer-Stoll (Sarah), grandsons Philip and Nathan, and many beloved friends and neighbors.

My love and prayers go your whole family. I am so very sad to hear of Kathy’s sudden passing. She definitely was a very loving and caring person.
When you spent time up north at the Hawley’s I remember good times with your family. She will be remembered fondly.
