Kenneth W. Jacobson, age 70 of Minneapolis, Chicago, Pine River, MN and Montgomery, TX. Star athlete of Mpls. Central High School. Played football at the U of M and is a member of the "M" Club. Proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 - 1969 and was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. 38 year employee and retired as its Sales Director of American Can and its successorsl, American National Can and Silgan Containers. Ken was an avid financial backer of the U of M athletics, where he was a season ticket holder for both football and baseball. His name is on the TCF Stadium-Williams Fund. Ken also loved golfing and traveling. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth . and Anne L. (Holz) Jacobson. Survived by his brother, Joel Jacobson, as well as many other relatives and friends.

We are very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. My mom Jayne McCabe truly loved the projects she worked with Ken on. He was always into something and making things so beautiful! It made her happy to see him happy. Although only meeting you and Kenny once, it seemed like I know all about yours and Kenny’s successes. He loved Texas and I hope you get a chance too! Kenny will be truly missed by many friends and family. Kenny is with the angels in heaven and resting peacefully now. He touched our life and I will never forget him.

Kenny J., What a special peson, patriot, true professional of the container manufacture business, and always a top-line Minnesota Gopher promoter. So saddened on his passing.
I had the pleasure of working with Ken for many years over my can manufacture time with The Pillsbury Company (Green Giant) and considered him a true friend as well as business associate.He would coordinate the container related meetings between our companies and always was well versed and buttoned up on the agenda (s). And always, always, followed up on
any decision format-no loose ends.
Great ambassador for those of us who love and respect the can manufacture business. He not only was a Sales Director, but thoroughly understood the manufacture and end use operations.
Rest in peace great friend and hope you on occasion have access to a good golf course and maybe a fine cigar after finishing a round. You will always be the torch bearer for the “Action A”. You will be missed on many fronts. Gerald J. Meyer
Kenny touched me early in my life when a positive role model was so influential. I will never forget that. RIP my friend!
I worked with and reported to Ken at American National Can Co. He loved his work and was a true professional in every way. He will be missed by all his family and fiends.
