Margaret D. Fedora - Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel

October 19, 1928 - June 11, 2023

Margaret D. Fedora (Kovalik), age 94 years, 7 months, 23 days - of Richfield, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023.

We were amazed at her energy as she was constantly giving and helping others. Although she wanted to keep on going, her body just wore out. A homemaker and stay-at-home mom while the children were young, she established a beautiful home environment and inspired her children's love of gardening by creating and maintaining her own flower beds and those at church for many years. When the youngest child started school she began her career with Control Data Corporation/Ceridian, became an Executive Office Assistant and retired at age 70. Her retirement occupation was volunteering at Bridging until age 90. After that she called herself a "lady of leisure." She drove until 93 and sang in the church choir until she lost her wind. The joys of her life were family, friends and church.
Preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, loving husband, Eugene, and 2 infant grandsons. Survived by her children and their spouses, Paul Fedora, Carol (Tom) Fedora-Myrick, John (Dawn) Fedora, Mark (Laura Scotford) Fedora and Mary (Lynn) Hoffmann; grandchildren, Ben (Tara), Naomi (Rick), Nathan (Katy), Amy (Tom), Adrienne (Paras), Rachel (Justin), Beth, Laura, James (Haley), Andrea and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Levi, Molly, Stella, Harper and Ava. With grateful hearts we thank her dear "gentleman friend" Stuart Leck for his companionship and love.

Memorials preferred to Bridging, 201 W. 87th St., Bloomington MN 55420. Bridging.org

Angela and I are very sorry to learn of Mrs. Fedora’s passing. We were just talking about her and her friends pulling weeds in their dress clothes when leaving Mass at Assumption many years ago. We always loved seeing her every week. Please accept our most sincere sympathies.
