Guttu, thank you posting this. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, who was my dear childhood friend. You might remember that your Gramma’s friend, Lorayne, had two grandchildren who would come to visit: Jack and Joe. Those are my sons. You played together a lot when they came to visit. Your mom and I played together nearly every day as children. We would dress up her dachshund, Dorothy, in baby clothes and take her around the neighborhood in a stroller! We would sing and dance to the top 40 hits on our transistor radios. We would pretend that we were royalty. Our other friend, another Joni, was the king, I was always the servant, and your mother insisted on being the queen! She was a talented singer and a born performer. I have the most wonderful memories of our time together as children. My most sincere condolences to you, and to your Aunt Carol Ann and your Uncle Harry.

So sorry to hear this we sure had a ton of fun together over the years with the horses and going out to eat. I will miss her terribly. Every birthday we would do lunch because mine is the day after hers.
