Merle E. Knutson, age 88, of Lakeville, Minnesota. Survived by wife, Lois; sons, Mark (Joanne), Craig (Rena), and Lynn (Lori); step-son, Kenneth (Cathie) Wyatt; grandchildren, Travis (Audrey), Jake, Kevin, Jessika (Mike) Brekken, Brent, Paul (Krystal), and Kyle ; step-granddaughters, Leah and Elaina Wyatt; great-grandson, Wyatt; sister-in-law, Zola Hagen; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by wife, Eunice; parents, Engwald and Mae; sister, Eileen (Philip) Johnson; and brother-in-law, Earl Hagen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
We ALWAYS loved talking to Merle and he is responsible for me trying egg coffee. He will be missed but what a joy to know where he is tonight! we are sorry that we are not going to make the visitation but his family is in our thoughts and prayers. What a great example of a Christian man he was here on earth.
Extending our sympathies to you and the family. We know how difficult it is to lose your father and hope that the memories of him will be close to your hearts. Take solace in the promise of our Lord, in life everlasting. Your family and children are living proof of how wonderful Merle’s life was to so many.
