Nathan was my best friend since Jr. High and best man at my wedding where he played his violin even after his fight with cancer! I will always remember his infectious laugh! It brings a smile to my face as I write this! I have often contemplated the great achievements Nathan could have accomplished had it not been for his cancer! I do know despite his challenges he faced life with a smile and always was of service to others! You will be missed my friend in more ways than I can describe.

To the Westby family, We were so sorry to hear that Nathan died, but we knew about the brain tumor. When you lived in Pierre, Nathan was at our home often; he and our son, Kevin, were good friends. We all attended Lutheran Memorial Church. We also send condolences on the death of Helen. Helen was a wonderful lady. We remember those times fondly. God bless the Westby family. You have our deepest sympathy. Mabel & Myron Kusler, & Kevin Kusler

My sincere condolences to the family of Nathan John Westby. I didn’t know Nathan but went to school with his brothers. Steve was in my class. I often wondered what ever happened to the brothers, where they lived and what their career choices were. I would enjoy hearing especially from Steve since we were classmates. Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to your families. God Bless you all and give you his peace that passes all understanding. Jeanne Servold
