Phyllis J. LaPitz, (nee Erickson) age 90, of Bloomington. Born July 20, 1924 in Minneapolis, MN and died April 11, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. LaPitz in 2007, her parents, Milton and Gladys Erickson, a sister Jeri Hempel and a son-in-law Anthony Gabriel. Survived by her children, Linda Gabriel, T. Jeffrey (Wendy) LaPitz, and Douglas (Judy) LaPitz. Grandchildren, Elizabeth Pretzel, Jennifer (Richard Mims-Angel) Weissman, Thomas LaPitz, Danielle LaPitz, Michael LaPitz, Andrew Gabriel and Adam LaPitz. Great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Liam and Josslyn. A sister, Jacqui Sperline, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.

If I am correct , Phyliss was a friend to my late husband , Harold Solmonson . He often mentioned to LaPitz family and remembered
knowing them when he was a young person . In fact , he knew all the LaPitz family and had fond memories of growing up with them.
I recall meeting Phyliss at the funeral of a LaPitz family member some years ago ( in Minneapolis ) . My husband was the same age
as Phyliss ; in fact he would have turned 90 on April 4 of this year .
