October 10, 1952 - July 19, 2020
Richard M. “Rick” Thorkildson of Mpls. passed away at the age 67 after battling the effects of Parkinson’s disease. Rick is a retired Administrator for Honeywell who is preceded in death by his brother, Tom. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Chris (Jenny) and Stephen (Seana) and his grandchildren, Isla, Henry, Darla, and Brockton.

I am very sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Rick from Minnehaha Academy. His bright smile cheered everyone up, along with his great tenor voice in Singers. God’s peace be with your family.

Growing up going to Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church and attending Minnehaha Academy Rick was always full of fun and interested in what and how you were doing. He shared his great voice singing at school and also with the church choir which was there to sing for our parents funerals. God Bless you and give you peace.
Rick was my second cousin, and it was a pleasure to meet him when my husband and I visited Minnesota. I did not know any of my american family members before that trip of ours. Now we
