Patricia (Ruth Ellen) Andresen, (nee, McCormick), age 93 of Richfield. Died peacefully at her home on March 28th. Preceded in death by her husband, Art; daughter-in-law, Faye Andresen; her parents and a brother. Survived by her children, Joan (Ben Ostfield) Andresen, Jim Andresen, Janet (Scott) Anderson and Mark (Patricia Smolka) Andresen; grandchildren, Scott (Rachel) Andresen and Megan (Brandon) Kreps; great-grandsons, Declan and Nolan Andresen and Jaxon and Hendrix Kreps.
I will truly miss Pat but know she is in a better place & with those she loved that have gone before her. She loved people and always saw the good in everyone. She was a wonderful grandmother to my son and spoiled him as grandparents do. There is no one more Irish than she. Our deepest sympathy to the Andresen family and our thoughts & prayers are with all of you? Love, Patty & Gary
Pat was one of those rare and special souls that enrich our lives with gentleness and kindness. souls do live on in the impact they have on our lives. Pat always was the definition of kindness. She expressed such an interest in me and my family…even though she had never met them. always asking how everyone was doing. Pat will remain in my memory as the essence of so many things…but especially of St. Patrick’s Day. I know of no one who exemplified and took such joy in being identified as Irish as Pat….I loved her St. Patrick’s Parties ….and attended most of them since 1969, I’m sure.
Pat is the Irish angel who truly cared about others, especially her family. She put others first and showed concern and compassion at every opportunity. What a blessing her love to others will always be. Rest in peace with you Heavenly Father Pat as we remember you with love.
I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s death. She was a wonderful person, always having a Irish Smile whenever you saw her. I’m sure her family has many wonderful memories of Pat. May those memories be eternal.
