I met Scott through his beautiful wife Donna. I enjoyed eating supper with them and being their Massage Therapist. Visiting with Scott was fun and I always learned something new from Scott. Scott is a blessing to all of us, exspeacially all the kids he helped at school and playing Santa. Scott you are truly going to be missed. Enjoy heaven you deserve to be out of pain. Love, Joanne

Scott was the best neighbor you could ask for. He was our “Neighborhood Commander.” Scott was always aware, and watchful and protective over the neighborhood and the interests of his neighbors. I remember him standing in his front door way looking out or standing on the front step, I remember him often in the backyard or working in his garage, and of course Thunder was always out there with him. Scott was a great conversationalist. He’d stop what he was doing and talk over the fence to someone walking by, he loved to make jokes with his biting sense of humor, loved to laugh and make fun of the stressful things in life. I cannot count how many times I had to call Scott and Donna for help with something, car trouble, (usually) but other things as well. I think the first time I really met them they helped me pull a tree out of my yard! Scott tied something to the tree and his big Suburban and pulled it out. I was impressed. Every time I asked for help, they were there. Scott would come on short notice, pushing my car out of snow, helping identify a problem or fix it, helped fix a door handle in my house, whatever I needed help with he was always there. I was shocked when Donna told me that Scott had passed. I knew he had health problems but he was so big and strong and full of life, I just couldn’t imagine that that big strong life force was no longer going to be here with us. I had many conversations with Scott, funny ones, philosophical ones, spiritual ones. He was interested in all aspects of life. I pray that when he passed from this life into that next dimension that he saw Jesus holding out his hand saying “C’mon Big Fella- Let’s go Rejoice, you are really free now.” I really loved Big Scott, such a great man, so good to so many, what a fantastic neighbor, Scott and Donna (the team). I will miss you (already do) more than you know Big Scott. Thank you for always being a steady, steadfast help in need. I love you and Donna. May God comfort you Donna and Scott’s family, sons, etc. in the deepest ways. May His presence help carry you through. Miss you big time Buddy! Love, Carol
