Steven Michael Smith
Age 63, a resident of the Minneapolis Veteran's Home died peacefully on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2015. He is survived by his loving mother, Gail Anne Smith; siblings, Linda (Kevin) Collins, Sheila LeCorre, Kevin, Brian, Sean (Cologne Hartman), Colin (Garth Galbraith), Matt (Tracy), Tim (Shannon), Jaime (Amy), 15 nieces & nephews and 1 great-nephew. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Richard Smith; sister, Carrie Belleson and sister-in-law, Shannon Fox.
Steven was a son, brother and an uncle to his many nieces and nephews whom he loved so dearly and found great joy and laughter with. Steven was an accomplished high school wrestler, had a passion for singing, playing guitar, going to concerts, sporting events & enjoyed practicing martial arts. He also served with pride in the US Army.
A special thanks to the entire staff at the Veteran's Home who cared so deeply for Steven.
