Vernon "Pete" Nelson, age 90, of St. Louis Park. Retired from Hancock-Nelson after a long career as a food buyer and moved on to North Star Auto Auction where he continued to work for several years. Preceded in death by wife, Jean; parents, Ernest and Lillian Nelson; brothers, Raymond "Jim" Nelson and Eldred "Al" Nelson
sister, Luverne "Sis" Felber. Survived by daughters, Nancy Crane (Stephen), Ann Helriegel (Stephen), and Susan Nesheim (Bill); sons, Peter Nelson and Jim Nelson (Kris); 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
